By now, anyone who trolls the news knows that Alaska’s Senator Ted Stevens made a complete ass of himself during debates — I mean, lectures — surrounding some silly amendment to some silly piece of government-sponsored piffle.
This link shows transcribed highlights from Stevens’ incoherent and grossly indefensible tirade, but you really have to listen to the audio to get a sense of a) the type of man voters put in office, 2) the stupidity of Alaskan voters, 3) the shameless ignorance of an American Senator, and 3) power abused right under our uncaring noses.
Stevens is a horrible politician, a horrible crony, and a horribly stupid human being.
