Vegges in full swing

I had grown carrots last year, but I’m never shy about growing them again. This year’s harvest of baby finger carrots is a small one so far, but I’m going to sow heaps more in three or four pots to keep producing throughout the rest of spring and summer.

This year, we’re doing potatoes (three different kinds) and radishes for the first time. This is our second batch of radishes this season. Wicked easy to grow, and so, so tasty. Here are the Rocket potatoes, which, along with the Swift potatoes we’ve also planted, are relatively fast growers. We harvested the Rockets too early, so we got a mix of itty-bitty spuds (perfect for salad or soup) and some lovely new potatoes that I am going to roast tomorrow.
