Remember AvantGo? They were smart about delivering content to Palm mobile devices long before Blackberry, Pocket PC or iPhone got the clue. In 2002, I helped them step back and take a look at the interaction scenarios that explained how users sought mobile content, with a particular focus on the motivators and barriers to selecting content that was right for them. We used these scenarios to design a far less confusing browse-and-selection experience.
