How users drive design focus

frog Design in San Francisco hired me to help one of their clients, Pelco. Pelco manufactures security cameras, consoles and software for the airport, casino, and hotel industries. After observing several users in their environments, we helped Pelco create a unified software experience, allowing security personnel to monitor complex events coming from a variety of inputs: video cameras, access points at doors and windows, fire and HVAC alarms.
